For The Trees

Forrest Landry Makes Stuff Up
Every novel you’ve ever read exists only because its writer persisted in the face of self-doubt, despair and the morbid conviction that even if he or she somehow managed to finish the damn book no one would ever read it, let alone publish it.
When I face those fears, it's all I can do to keep typing.
But I love writing so much!

I've given up trying to be erudite. This has always been a daily journal, a simple Weblog, and I'm not gonna change. May as well relax and enjoy it.

A woman of wisdom and life. Gentle on the mind, gentle on the eyes, gentle on the soul. A beautiful woman, the inspiration of beautiful prose. Ahhh...Ariel.

I dunno. Something about her eyes makes me think she is not afraid to say what's what.

You nailed it, Erik. This photo says it all. I just wish I could find more pictures of her, but I don't even know her name. Got her off Flickr, which isn't real good about names or anything else. But boy, does she sing to me. There are volumes in that shot.

Flood, why do you think I chose her? A seasoned woman makes a truly great Muse. Not afraid to say what's what, means I get some serious feedback from her. Now if I could just get her to critique my novels...which she won't.
